1. General refund principles
By placing an order with Lexorr, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a personalised academic support service, not a pre‑made product. As a result, refunds are only available in specific situations.
2. Order cancellations before work starts
If you decide to cancel your order before any work has started, a refund may be granted.
- If no writer has been assigned and no research has begun, you may be eligible for a full refund.
- If internal processing or preliminary review has started, an administrative fee may be deducted from the refund.
3. Cancellations after work has started
If work has already begun on your assignment, only a partial refund may be considered, depending on the progress completed at the time of cancellation.
- If a writer has been assigned and has started research or drafting, we may deduct a proportion of the fee to cover work already completed.
- Once a significant portion of the assignment is completed, refunds will generally be reduced or may no longer be available.
4. After delivery of completed work
Once the completed work has been delivered to you, refunds will generally not be provided.
- At this stage, your primary remedy is to request revisions if the work does not match the original instructions.
- Refunds after delivery may only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at our sole discretion.
5. Revisions instead of refunds
If the delivered work does not meet the original, agreed‑upon requirements, you are entitled to request revisions.
- Revisions are free within a specified period (as stated on our website or at the time of order), provided they relate to the original brief.
- Requests that introduce new requirements, change the topic, or increase the scope (e.g. higher word count) are treated as a new order, not a free revision.
We encourage clients to use the revision process first so we can correct any issues before a refund is considered.
6. Refund processing time
If a refund is approved, we will process it via the original payment method used for the order.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days from the date of approval.
- Actual time for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card provider or payment gateway.
